The outbreak and spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) have raised questions and concerns. PCCR is closely monitoring the situation and following the directives from the BC Health Authorities to ensure the health and safety of our supported individuals and employees.

A multidisciplinary team has been created to monitor the virus’ spread, implement proactive measures and adapt our services accordingly. We have also strengthened the infectious diseases protocol in an effort to minimize the transmission of the virus and flatten the curve.

At this time, we are limiting visitors within the staffed residential homes and ask that you contact the program manager beforehand to make arrangements. A screening protocol has been developed to ensure the health and well-being of the supported individuals and our employees. All visitors will be asked to complete this document upon arrival and immediately wash their hands when entering the premises.

This is an evolving situation and we will continue to provide updates as they become available.
